Button
The button control element allows the user to transfer the process to the next state. This means that each button in the form is a starting point in the process design.
This allows you to continue the process in different ways depending on the button.
Configuration
The following options are available within the configuration
- Title:
Enter the display name of the control element here. This is displayed to the users so that they know which control it is. - Internal name:
The internal name allows you to reference a control in placeholders or rules using a name other than the title. This field does not have to be filled in, but is helpful if you have several controls with the same title in a form.
- Arrangement:
By default, the button(s) is/are displayed on the right-hand side of the form. You can use the arrangement to determine whether the buttons are displayed on the left, centred, right or filling in.
Filling means that the first button is displayed on the far left and all subsequent buttons are displayed with enough space between them so that the last button is displayed on the far right. - Colour of the button:
You can use the colour to change the colour of the button. This is particularly helpful, for example, to emphasise a cancel button (or similar) differently. - Deactivate mandatory field Check:
By default, all mandatory fields must be completed in order to transfer the process to the next step via a button. However, it may be the case that you want to allow people to click a button without filling in all mandatory fields. This can make sense, for example, to include a cancel button or a button to start an escalation. - Add button:
If you want to insert more than one button, you can do this using this button. For example, you can display a Send button and a Cancel button next to each other.
You can then insert the settings for the other buttons below.
