Analysis
While you are developing a process, it can always happen that you want to understand exactly why the process has taken a certain course or which text has been built up exactly. This can also be helpful if a published process exhibits unforeseen behaviour.
To do this, you can open the analysis mode in a running process using the following button
After you have clicked this button, the process designer opens in analysis mode.
This button is only available to process editors.
Analysis mode
If the process designer is opened in analysis mode, you will see the process definition with which the process is executed. Successfully completed steps are marked with a green tick on the top right-hand side of the element. If an error has occurred, a red X is displayed at the top right of the element. The element in which the process is currently located is marked with an orange squiggle on the top right-hand side.
You can click on an action at any time to display the configuration that was used to perform it. In this way you can see, for example, how a condition was resolved or the text of an e-mail that was sent.
If an error has occurred, you can click on the red X to display the error message.
Resume in the event of an error
If the process is in an error state, you can also resume this process here. The following button is displayed next to the various elements:
In the panel that opens, you can assign a new person or group to edit the process and thus assign new rights. You can also assign a new status to force the process into a certain status.
You can then resume the process using the Resume button.
