LDAP

The LDAP integration in linqi allows interaction with Microsoft Active Directory servers. Using the corresponding actions, you can, for example, create and edit users and groups or assign users to groups.

To be able to use the LDAP integration, you must activate the corresponding feature in the tenant administration.

Connection​

To be able to interact with an Active Directory server via LDAP actions in linqi, you must first create a corresponding connection in the connection management ( button in the navigation). In the connection list, you can use the plus icon in the upper-right corner and then select LDAP.

In the connection settings, you have the following options:

  • Display name:
    The display name helps you reuse the connection and can be freely defined.
  • Domain:
    The domain/address under which the Active Directory server can be reached.
  • Username:
    The username used for authentication against the server.
  • Password:
    The password used for authentication against the server.
  • Search path:
    The path / parent distinguished name in which users should be searched.
