Validation

The BPMN 2.0 Designer runs a syntax check of the BPMN 2.0 model after saving. If errors are present, the Syntax error button is displayed in the toolbar.

Open the panel to see the detected errors. For each error you can highlight the affected elements in the canvas:

  • Highlight affected elements: Marks the elements affected by the error in the canvas.
  • End highlighting of the affected elements: Ends the highlighting.

The syntax check is performed again only after saving. Therefore, check the model again after each change by saving the process.
