Import definition

Under More functions in the toolbar of the BPMN 2.0 Designer, you use Upload BPMN 2.0 definition to open the import panel. There you upload an external BPMN 2.0 definition, which is then transferred into the process.

The process must be saved to upload a BPMN 2.0 definition. The entry is disabled until the process is saved.

Formats​

In addition to the linqi internal format, the following import formats are available if the BPMN 2.0 feature is enabled:

  • JSON (.json)
  • BPMN 2.0 (.bpmn)
  • XML (.xml)
  • XPDL (.xpdl)
  • XGML (.xgml)
  • GraphML (.graphml)

The formats SVG, PNG and PDF are only available for export and cannot be imported. The full overview of export and import formats is in Export & Import.

Overwriting​

If you import a new process, the existing process is overwritten. Confirm the overwrite in the corresponding dialog.
