BPMN mode

The BPMN 2.0 Designer is integrated into the Process Designer. You switch between the executable linqi representation and the BPMN 2.0 representation using a toggle button in the toolbar.

The toggle button is only displayed if the BPMN 2.0 feature is enabled for the business unit.

  • In the executable Process Designer, the button BPMN 2.0 Notation () is displayed. Use it to switch to the BPMN 2.0 Designer.
  • In the BPMN 2.0 Designer, the button Executable process () is displayed. Use it to switch back to the executable process.

The domain-oriented BPMN 2.0 representation is used to document the process and has no effect on the executable process. You can switch between the representations at any time.

Saved view​

The last selected view is saved per process. When you open a process again, the last used representation is opened.

Forced view​

  • The URL parameter openBpmn=1 forces the BPMN 2.0 Designer to open.
  • If a person switches between the BPMN 2.0 Designer and the Process Designer, this is saved and preferred the next time the process is opened (see Business unit settings).
