Process list

Via the Process list element, you can display the BPMN 2.0 processes of your business unit in a table on the dashboard. This gives users a quick overview of the available BPMN 2.0 processes and allows them to open these processes directly in the process designer.

The element is only available in the dashboard design if the BPMN 2.0 feature is activated.

Configuration​

Within the configuration, the following options are available:

  • Title:
    Enter the display name of the element here. This will be displayed to users so they know which control it is.
  • Column configuration:
    Here you define the columns that are displayed in the process list. Use the Add column dropdown to select which columns should be displayed in the table. The display name, the process number, and the process metadata are available for selection. You can adjust the order of the columns by dragging and dropping. The following options are available per column:
    • Column width:
      Determines how wide the column is displayed in the table (very small, small, normal, large, or very large).
    • Delete column:
      Removes the column from the configuration. At least one column must be configured.
  • Standard sorting:
    Determine here by which column the process list is sorted by default and in which direction (ascending or descending).
  • Filter configuration:
    Use filters to restrict the processes that are displayed. Use the Add filter button to add filters. The following options are available per filter:
    • Metadata field:
      Select the metadata field to which the filter is applied.
    • Operator:
      Determines the type of check that is performed on the value of the metadata field. The available operators depend on the data type of the field:
      • For number and date fields: is equal, not equal, less than, less than or equal to, more than, and more than or equal to.
      • For all other fields: is equal, not equal, contains, does not contain, starts with, and ends with.
    • Comparative value:
      Enter the value that the value of the metadata field is compared with.
    • Delete filter:
      Removes the filter. Multiple filters are combined with and: Only processes that fulfill all filter conditions are displayed.

Display on the dashboard​

The process list displays the published BPMN 2.0 processes of the business unit that the person has access to. For each row, one process is displayed with the configured column values. In the first column, a button is available for each process that opens the process in the process designer. The following functions are also available:

  • Open process:
    Opens the selected process in the process designer in a new tab.
  • Sort columns:
    Users can sort the list by any configured column by clicking on the column name.
  • Search:
    Via the search field of the dashboard, users can filter the list by the entered text.
  • Pages:
    The list is displayed with pagination. Users can page forward and backward to see more entries.
