Overview

Using the Process Designer, you can build processes that can subsequently be executed as often as needed. The Process Designer is therefore a core component, and most of your work will begin here.
You can find the Process Designer via the side menu using the following button:

Process List

Within the process list, you have an overview of the various processes available in the selected tenant. If you have permissions in multiple tenants, you can switch the current tenant via a dropdown on the top right side.

If you do not select a process, the following functions are available on the top right side:

  • Import process definition ():
This button allows you to import a process. Details can be found here.
  • Create folder ():
This allows you to create a new folder. A folder is given a name and can subsequently be used to organize the processes within it.
If you have the appropriate permissions, you can also assign permissions at the folder level to restrict access to its contents.
  • Create process ():
Using this button, you can create a new process. This opens the Process Designer.

If you select a process, you have the following additional functions to choose from:

  • Open feedback area ():
This button displays the feedback submitted by people using the process. This allows you to respond to them and use the feedback to improve the process.
  • Retrieve process statistics ():
linqi automatically collects statistics on processes that are executed. These allow you to investigate where a significant amount of time is lost in a process and improve upon it.
  • Assign tag ():
This button allows you to assign a tag to the process. For example, you can tag processes to automatically transfer them into a process map.
Tags can also be used for filtering via the corresponding column.
  • Export process definition ():
This button allows you to export the process. Details can be found here.
  • Export process details ():
This function allows you to export values from a process into a CSV file to perform further analyses. It is also possible to generate a link here to integrate this data into a BI solution, for example, and continuously query live data. Details can be found here.
  • Edit process ():
This allows you to edit the selected process.
  • Move to folder ():
Using this function, you can move the process into another folder. To do this, this button opens a panel where you can select the new target folder.
  • Delete process ():
This allows you to move the selected process to the trash.
