linqi update as of 02.03.2024
⭐️ Features
-
AI process summary: To speed up workflows, we have integrated an AI into linqi. The first step was to implement a summary of running processes. In this way, people can see the status of even complex processes at a glance within dashboards and thus quickly decide whether action is necessary on their part or not.
Note: Of course, we also pay attention to data protection when integrating AI. For this reason, all AI processes run on linqi's own servers with their own AI models, so that your data remains secure and is not passed on.
To activate this function, you must activate the AI process summary feature in business unit management. -
Business unit management authorization role: You can now use the new security role business unit management to determine who has access to the business unit settings.
Note: You must assign this role to the people who have previously customized the business unit settings so that they can continue to do so. -
Folders: In addition to tags, folders have been implemented as another way to organize your data. Persons with business unit administration rights can also assign authorizations here in order to set up a detailed authorization structure if necessary.
-
Process numbers: To make it even easier to reference processes, all processes now have a unique number for each business unit. This number can also be used as a placeholder, for example to customize export templates.
-
Order of form rules: You can now adjust the order of form rules using drag'n'drop. This is particularly helpful if you want to trigger a generally valid rule at the top and build up more specific rules below it.
-
Process metadata customization: As metadata is a valuable tool to capture and describe the data of your processes, new data types for metadata fields have been implemented. You can now create selection fields as well as number fields. In addition, you can now store help texts for metadata in order to provide users with assistance when completing the fields.
-
Performance optimization: We have improved the refresh rate of dashboards so that even large tables are kept up to date without any noticeable waiting time.
-
Document template adjustments: It is now possible to adjust the orientation (portrait or landscape format) and the sheet size (A1 - A5) of document templates.
-
Comparison of process metadata: The process comparison has been extended to display differences in metadata.
-
Search extensions: The last search queries are now saved and displayed within the various object lists. This allows you to find relevant entries quickly and easily. In addition, you can now also search BPMN 2.0 process nodes within the process list.
-
Double-click to open entries: For improved usability, it is now possible to open entries directly within the object lists by double-clicking on the name.
-
General BPMN 2.0 settings: Within the business unit settings, you can now determine whether the process or BPMN 2.0 Designer is used by default. In addition, it is also possible to define standard elements when creating a new BPMN 2.0 process, as well as to determine whether the process metadata must be queried directly.
-
BPMN 2.0 Glossary: Entries from the BPMN 2.0 Glossary are now used to provide suggestions within the BPMN 2.0 Designer when describing events, gateways or tasks. In addition, you can now drag entries from the BPMN 2.0 glossary directly into the process as a task via a side panel. In this way, standardized formulations are promoted.
-
Moving texts in the BPMN 2.0 Designer: It is now possible to move the labels of events, gateways etc.. To do this, you can simply move the labels using drag'n'drop.
-
Simplified editing of BPMN 2.0 pools: Pools now adapt to the content and grow automatically when new elements are moved or inserted. In addition, elements within a pool are also moved when the pool is moved.
-
Numbering of BPMN 2.0 elements: As some customers wanted to switch off BPMN 2.0 numbering, we have extended the business unit settings to allow you to switch this function on and off. You can also make further settings there, such as which elements should receive a number or the step size of the numbering.
-
BPMN 2.0 link event syntax check: The syntax check within the BPMN 2.0 Designer has been extended to check whether link events have a corresponding counterpart.
-
Upload of BPMN 2.0 definition into an existing process: Within the BPMN 2.0 Designer, you can now import a new BPMN 2.0 definition into an existing process via a corresponding file.
🐞 Bug fixes

Incorrect page breaks in PDF export: In certain situations it could happen that the page breaks were not displayed optimally within a PDF export.
-
Not possible to deselect multiple options: If a selection option in a multiple selection field began and ended with a space, it was not possible to deselect it after the option had been selected.
