linqi update as of 20.07.2024
⭐️ Features
-
BPMN 2.0 process list: It is now possible to insert a new control element within dashboards that lists BPMN 2.0 processes. You can display metadata as well as filter via metadata. In this way, you can show users the different processes of a department, for example, or list processes with a very long runtime.
Note: This control element is only available if the BPMN 2.0 feature is activated. -
BPMN 2.0 Designer extensions: The BPMN 2.0 Process Designer has been expanded so that you can develop BPMN 2.0 processes even faster and more conveniently. The context menu has been redesigned so that it stands out even better. In addition, it is now possible to use the context menu to insert elements not only below or above, but also between the element and the next one.
-
BPMN 2.0 process templates: Within the business unit settings, you can now define not just one BPMN 2.0 PDF export template, but several. For example, you can define a template for exporting in A3 format and a template in A4 format.
-
BPMN 2.0 process manual: The BPMN 2.0 process manual is now defined independently of the standard BPMN 2.0 PDF export templates. You can no longer select a Process definition placeholder. Instead, you can now select in the settings of a section that these are repeated for the processes. Within these sections, you can then use the same placeholders as within the BPMN 2.0 process templates. This change allows you to export the process manual with reduced information per process, for example.
Note: Existing process manual templates must be adapted, as the existing process definition placeholder is no longer functional. -
BPMN 2.0 Process-related processes: To give you even more options for process control, you can now create one or more process-related processes within the business unit settings. These can be started at any time using the Process Designer. For example, you can define a process to notify people or to request a provisional release.
-
BPMN 2.0 Pool Milestones: In addition to lanes, you can now also insert milestones in pools within the BPMN 2.0 Process Designer. These are then displayed orthogonally to the lanes and can be used to emphasise certain process milestones.
Note: As these go beyond the normal BPMN 2.0 specification, they are not taken into account when exporting to the BPMN 2.0 XML format. -
BPMN 2.0 PNG export: To make the BPMN 2.0 process visualisation even easier to use, an export to the PNG image format has been implemented. These images can be embedded directly in Word or other applications.
-
BPMN 2.0 direct link: In addition to the existing links for embedding a BPMN 2.0 process, you can now copy a read-only link in the process designer.
-
BPMN 2.0 quick modelling: BPMN 2.0 quick modelling now also creates a pool by default to make it easier to build a complex process on this basis.
-
BPMN 2.0 syntax check: The BPMN 2.0 syntax check has been extended to recognise possible infinite loops. It also ensures that a parallel gateway can be merged with a parallel gateway in a BPMN-compliant manner.
-
BPMN 2.0 standard elements: In addition to the standard elements for a new BPMN 2.0 process such as start node & pool, you can now also select start & end nodes in a pool in the business unit settings.
🐞 Bug fixes
- Form date rules in Firefox: In certain situations it could happen in the Firefox browser that conditions with date fields in forms were not evaluated correctly.
