⭐️ Features

  • Process map: With the new dashboard control Process Map, you can now display a process map in linqi. This allows grouped and organised processes, as well as dashboards etc., to be displayed for users. It is also possible to link from map to map and thus implement a drill-down. It is also possible to copy a link in order to embed such a map on the intranet, for example.

  • Deletion of process instances: Various customers approached us with the request to delete running processes. This feature is now available for people with process designer rights. These deletions are displayed in the deletion log.
Note: If you want to deactivate these functions, you can switch them off in the business unit settings.

  • Deletion log: In order to better understand who deleted something and when, a deletion log has been implemented in the business unit settings. Deleted objects are listed here. The deletion of a process is final.

  • Process publishing processes: Within the business unit settings, it is now possible to define a process in linqi itself that is executed when a person wants to publish a process. For example, you can implement an approval process that must be run in order to publish a process.

  • Document processes: In addition to a process for publication, you can now also implement processes that can be executed for process documents. For example, you can implement document approval processes or a process to notify people of a new document.

  • Automatic process generation: A new feature now allows you to automatically generate a BPMN 2.0 process based on an executable process. In the same way, you can generate an executable process based on a BPMN 2.0 process. To do this, you can create a corresponding assignment of elements in the business unit settings.

  • Extension of the map functionality: The map functionality has been expanded so that you can now also dynamically insert markers using placeholders. For example, you can visualise company addresses or similar that were previously entered in a form or loaded from a third-party system.

  • BPMN 2.0 Glossary: You can now maintain a glossary within the business unit settings. This is used to support the user when entering risks by suggesting appropriate texts.

  • BPMN 2.0 risk management: You can now enter risks and their control via the metadata settings of an element in the BPMN 2.0 Designer. This allows you to carry out a process-orientated risk assessment.

  • Graphical version comparison: A graphical comparison for the different versions of a process has been implemented. This comparison highlights deleted, newly added or edited nodes in colour.

  • BPMN 2.0 process embedding: You can now copy a link to embed a BPMN 2.0 process in a third-party system. For example, you can embed various process definitions in the intranet.

  • Document full text search: PDF and Word files that are attached to a process definition can now also be searched via the process search. This allows you to find your processes more quickly and accurately and makes the documentation even more valuable.

  • Private business units: Business unit administrators can now allow users to independently create so-called private business units. Only the people themselves have access to these business units. They can therefore be used for evaluation purposes, for example, but also for the automation of various processes.

  • Usability improvements: The BPMN 2.0 Designer has been revised to improve usability and minimise the need for switching between BPMN and executable mode.

  • BPMN 2.0 XPDL Export & Import: linqi can now export and import processes in XPDL format. This makes it even easier to switch from different third-party systems to linqi.

🐞 Bug fixes

  • Incorrect text wrapping in BPMN 2.0 SVG export: In various situations it could happen that a text was not wrapped correctly in BPMN 2.0 SVG export.

  • Missing message with missing mandatory fields: If a person wants to submit a form without submitting all mandatory fields, a message is now displayed at the top to indicate mandatory fields that have not been filled in.
