⭐️ Features

  • Business unit Settings: To help you customize your environment even better, a new navigation entry for business unit settings has been implemented. Here you can make various settings for the business units, and in the future you will also be able to view deletion logs, etc.

  • Business unit Default Metadata: Within the business unit settings it is now possible to define standard metadata fields. These are automatically available in every process and node and help to document your processes according to a certain standard.

  • Customize BPMN 2.0 controls: You can now enable or disable BPMN 2.0 elements in the business unit settings. This can help not to overwhelm the users with too many elements and to focus on the most essential elements. If an element is deactivated here, it is no longer available in the toolbox, but existing elements are not deleted.

  • Improved Color Settings: The Global Admin Area now allows you to assign different colors for the Dark color scheme. This way you can choose the colors for the Light and Dark color schemes so that they are displayed optimally. Additionally, the text color is now better chosen based on the assigned colors.

  • Lookup Lists Process Actions: In order to enable data storage not only via external systems but also directly from linqi, process actions have been implemented to create, update, delete and read entries in lists. In this way, you can now, for example, create a list of customers and fill it via a process.
    Note: By default, this feature is deactivated. If you want to use this feature, you must first activate the Lookup List Action feature for the respective business unit in the business unit Administration.

  • Dashboard Data Table: Using the new dashboard control Data Table you can now display values from a lookup list on dashboards. It is of course possible to define a filter etc. and thus display the data specifically according to the group of people.

  • New Lookup Lists Column Type: It is now possible to use the data types number and date for lookup list columns. You can then reference these columns at the appropriate places or also store sum values in the corresponding number columns. This can be helpful, for example, if you want to save holidays or similar.

  • Process Autolayout: Since a good alignment of process elements helps greatly with the overview, a function has been implemented that automatically aligns a process for you. This way you can focus on your processes and linqi ensures that you keep the overview. You can find this function at the bottom of the minimap in the process designer.

  • Date field extension: You can now specify a minimum as well as maximum date for a date field in a form. This way you can e.g. force a date to be in the future or before a certain deadline.
    You can also define as a new format that people only select a month.

  • Sound File Preview: linqi can now play sound files directly in the browser. So you can now play uploaded voice messages etc. directly in the form without having to download them first.

⭐️ Features

  • Colour settings: It is now possible to customise your linqi environment even more individually to your needs. For this purpose, you can set your company colours as well as logo in the Global Admin Area. These colours are used at different accent points.

  • Variable data types: You can assign a data type to process variables. In this way, you not only have significantly more options within processes, but can also, for example, transfer files to subsequent processes.

  • Extensions of the SharePoint Connector: You can now check files in and out via the SharePoint Connector. It is now possible to implement even more far-reaching document processes. It is also possible to work with taxonomy fields via the SharePoint Connector.

  • Conditional Value Expression: Using a new expression, conditional value, you can now dynamically vary between values in based on a condition. This allows you to dynamically generate salutations in emails, adjust default values of controls, and more.

  • IBAN format: An IBAN format has been added to the single-line text field. This format validates the entered values for a valid IBAN and formats the entered value with spaces to ensure easier IBAN entry.

  • HTTP Connector files: The HTTP Connector has been extended to download as well as upload files. It is now also possible to load files via a webhook.

  • Notifications from process: You can now send notifications to people within linqi via a new action Send Notification. People will be notified via a corresponding status icon on the logo and the details will show up on their personal dashboard. Persons can specify via a configuration that these notifications are also sent by e-mail.

  • Quick release: In addition to notifications, you can now also start a so-called quick release via an action. These quick releases also appear on the personal dashboard and allow people to continue a process about a decision in a different way directly from there.

  • Helpdesk Information: To make it easier for our customers to reach us, our helpdesk contact details are now displayed in the global admin area.

  • Tagging Objects: You can now assign keywords to processes, dashboards, master data and connections. These keywords can then be used for filtering. In this way, you can organise your process objects, as well as clearly link dashboards and processes for you.

  • Table Columns Configuration: In order to be able to present information on the dashboards to your users in an even more targeted way, it is now possible to configure the display of columns in dashboard tables. You can determine the width, hide columns as well as exclude columns from the Excel export. By hiding columns, for example, filter columns can be better implemented.

  • Dropdown multiple selection: From now on you can allow multiple selections in a dropdown list. In this way, you have an alternative to the radio button display, which can be very helpful especially with a large number of selection options.

  • BPMN 2.0 SVG Export: To enable you to use your BPMN 2.0 process definitions even more extensively, an export option to SVG has been implemented. You can integrate this image representation into various documents or websites.

  • Images in document templates: The maximum image size in document templates has been increased.

⭐️ Features

  • Lookup List Import: To make it even easier to use your company data in processes, a lookup list import has been implemented to import Excel files into linqi. You can then use the lookup list to load these values, e.g. to automatically assign projects to cost centres, etc.

  • File preview control: Many of our customers evaluate files as part of processes and fill in forms accordingly. To speed this up, a new control for a file preview has been implemented. With this control it is possible to embed PDF, Word or image files directly in the form. For example, a file can be displayed on the left-hand side and associated values can be entered on the right-hand side.

  • PDF Compression: When generating PDF files via the corresponding action, you can now specify a compression level. In this way, significantly smaller files can be generated, especially for image-heavy PDFs.

  • Delete file action: You can now delete files from linqi via a new action. This can be particularly helpful to comply with data protection regulations or to save storage space.
    Note: This feature is deactivated by default. If you want to use this feature, you must first activate the file functions feature for the respective business unit in the business unit administration.

  • Open Parallel Processes: If you open a parallel process and have write permission on one form and only read permission on others, the form with write permission will now always open.

⭐️ Features

  • Comment feature: Often processes are edited and developed by different people. To simplify and accelerate this collaboration, a comment function has been implemented in the process designer. With this function it is possible to discuss about a whole process or about single nodes.

  • Process Metadata: It is now possible to attach metadata to processes and their nodes. In this way, you can document processes even better and, for example, describe third-party systems or also record responsibilities.

  • Process Document Attachments: In addition to metadata, you can also attach documents to processes and nodes. These documents can be used for documentation purposes as well as within the process flow. In this way, for example, you can attach terms and conditions to e-mails and the like.

  • BPMN 2.0 Syntax Check: When a BPMN 2.0 process is saved, a syntax check is now also performed. This ensures that the process is fundamentally correct and adheres to the specifications of BPMN 2.0.

  • Help lines in the process designer: To make it easier to build a clear structure in the process designer, helper lines have been implemented. These indicate when multiple nodes are at the same height vertically or horizontally.

  • Pad text expression: It is now possible to pad a string to a specific length. For example, you can always pad a project number to a specific length by prepending zeros, etc.

  • Improved mobile display: linqi is now better displayed on cell phones and other mobile devices. Especially dashboards and the forms of started processes have been optimized. The PDF file preview has also been improved.

  • SAP B1 HANA Connector: From now on it is possible to create entries in SAP B1 HANA via linqi. To do this, you need to create a corresponding connection and can then create entries via associated actions. linqi uses the SAP B1 Service Layer for this.
    Note: By default, this feature is disabled. If you want to use this feature, you have to activate it for the respective business unit in the business unit administration first.

  • BPMN 2.0 Quick Modeling: To make it even easier and faster to define BPMN 2.0 processes, BPMN 2.0 Quick Modeling has been introduced. Using this menu item in the BPMN 2.0 Designer, you can define the corresponding steps as a sequence of text fields. A corresponding process is then automatically defined.

  • Merge PDF files: Using a new action, you can now merge two or more PDF files into one PDF file. This allows you, for example, to generate an invoice document and attach the associated invoice supporting documents.

  • File Generation: A new feature allows you to generate text file. You can then send these to third-party systems, for example. Note: By default, this feature is disabled. If you want to use this feature, you must first activate this feature for the respective business unit in the business unit administration.

  • Replace Expression: It is now possible to replace character strings within text placeholders. This function is available under the expression button.

⭐️ Features

  • Anonymous Process Access Features: Many customers asked us to create a possibility to query data by external persons who do not have a linqi account. For this purpose, we implemented a new feature that allows people to start a process without having to log in. This allows you, for example, to integrate membership applications, service requests or other services on your website. With a corresponding action, it is also possible to make a single form available externally during a process execution. For example, in an onboarding process, you can request data from the person who will work in your company in the future, even if this person does not yet have an account.
    Note: By default, this feature is disabled. If you want to use this feature, you must first activate it for the respective business unit in the business unit administration.

  • BPMN XML Import / Export: You can now export your BPMN diagrams into the standard BPMN XML format. It is also possible to import BPMN diagrams in this format in order to subsequently implement them with linqi as a digital process.

  • Process start links: It is now possible to generate different links for a process, through which the process can be started directly. You can then embed these links in your intranet or wiki, for example, in order to start processes even more easily. It is also possible to start a link on mobile devices via a QR code, for example.

  • Barcode scanner: To make data entry in forms even faster and easier, a new control element for forms has been implemented: the barcode scanner. Using such a barcode control element, it is possible to scan a barcode with mobile devices or other devices with a camera. A wide variety of barcode formats are supported here.

  • Document template formats: You can now define the font and the font size in document templates in order to adapt them even better to your needs.

  • Search functions: In order to be able to find processes, dashboards, business units etc. more quickly, a search function has been implemented in the various list views.

  • Small General Changes: Various small general changes have been implemented. For example, you can now format uploaded files as images, or numbers as integers without decimal places.

⭐️ Features

  • BPMN 2.0 Designer: In order to offer our customers a holistic solution, we have implemented a designer for BPMN 2.0. With the new BPMN 2.0 Designer it is possible to document or even plan the processes defined in linqi with a widely used standard. You can find this new designer via a corresponding button in the Process Designer.
    The BPMN 2.0 feature will be extended in the course of the next releases with features like export / import, automatic generation and much more.
    Note: By default, this feature is disabled. If you want to use this feature, you must first activate this feature for the respective business unit in the business unit administration.  

  • Mathematical formulas: Processes can now be designed even more dynamically. linqi has been extended with the possibility to perform calculations. In this way, for example, a value added tax or total costs can be calculated. It is also possible to determine the difference between dates or to extract text values.

  • Notification module: To ensure that users always have an overview of the processes and the current status, a new notification module has been implemented. Via this notification module, users can now subscribe to certain events. This makes it possible to receive a notification when a running process changes to the next state.
    These notifications are both displayed in the application itself and, if desired, delivered via email. Configurably, email notifications can be delivered collectively in a weekly summary.

  • Send Exchange Survey: With this new action of the Exchange Connector, it is possible to get answers from people without them having to leave Outlook. With this action in the Process Designer it is for example possible to get a release from people very fast and easy. This works even if these persons do not have access to linqi.

  • Usability improvements: Since we put a lot of emphasis on linqi being easy to use, several changes have been implemented to make the application even easier to understand. For example, it is now easier to set up conditions for checkboxes. In addition, the help has been extended in many places.

  • Form Rules: You can now make your forms much more dynamic. For this purpose, it is now possible to create rules, for example to hide controls or to mark them as mandatory only in certain situations. For example, you could show a "Different billing address" section as soon as a corresponding checkbox is checked in the form.

  • Person Search Placeholder: A new placeholder allows you to search for people based on form values and the like. This way you can, for example, dynamically offer people in a dropdown list depending on the selection in a previous form.

  • Performance Optimizations: To ensure fast loading times, many software libraries have been updated and other optimizations have been made.

  • Document Templates: It is often desirable to generate different documents during the process. For example, this could be an order confirmation or an invoice. With the new document template feature you can do exactly this. To do this, you can switch to draft mode for document templates from within the Process Designer. These can then be used either by the users for export or during process design with a corresponding action.

  • Help Tour: To make it even easier for new users to get started with our software, a help tour has been implemented. You can start it via the global navigation. The help tour provides context specific information per page and guides people through the different functions that are currently available.

  • SQL Database Connector: Various customers have requested the ability to connect to external SQL databases. With this update this is now possible by providing appropriate actions. The following database systems are supported:

    • Microsoft SQL Server
    • PostgreSQL
    • MySQL & MariaDB
    • Oracle

    Note: By default this feature is disabled. If you wish to use this feature, you must first enable it in business unit Administration.

  • Email Attachments: From now on it is possible to specify file attachments when sending an email using the default type email action.

  • Improvement of the Richtext Editor: To help you design your texts and document templates as well and easily as possible according to your ideas, the Richtext Editor has been enhanced even further. This new feature allows you to use text alignment, headings and other formatting.

  • Exchange Online OAuth credentials: Microsoft has changed the technical login process for accessing Exchange. This means that in the near future it will no longer be possible for linqi to log on to the online service with just a user name and password. To ensure that our customers can still use this feature, an Exchange Online mode has been implemented for Exchange access data.
    Note: If you use the Exchange Connector with Exchange Online you have to change your connection to the new mode. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us here.

  • Performance Optimizations: To guarantee fast loading times, various performance optimizations have been implemented. Especially with slower internet connections, such as when using mobile internet, the loading times have again been significantly improved.

  • Advanced placeholders for SharePoint actions: For even easier work with SharePoint, new placeholders for SharePoint actions have been implemented. For example, it is now possible to query the ID of a newly created entry.
